The Universe always rewards us with at least one spark a day.
You know the spark.
On some days, the spark feels like a burst of inspiration, motivating us forward with gusto. On other days, it feels like a wave of softness and calm, reminding us of our essence.
Either way, when we encounter this spark, it feels like magic. We feel loved and like we are in conversation with the infinite. We know that things are going to be okay.
The trick to experiencing this magic every day? Release your expectations, surrender to your worthiness, and let the spark yield to you.
Blah blah expectations blah
As we grow older, we start expecting more from ourselves. We expect ourselves to be kind, loving, productive, and valuable.
But somewhere along the way, we forget that we are human. We forget that we are here to experience the full spectrum of human emotions, which includes anger, boredom, and yes… hate.
So god forbid if we dare to fall short of our expectations! We must immediately deny ourselves from the possibility of something good… at least not until WE are good.
The spark yields to you
The truth is: the Universe is always in conversation with us.
It never takes a lunch break. It never looks at us in disgust or disappointment. Instead, it always calls and sends us sparks of comfort and light.
So if you want to experience this spark regularly, here's what you must do:
First, open your heart to the possibility that you are worthy even during your low moments (when you’re not your best self).
Then, intentionally guide your focus and self-talk. For example:
I’m having a really shitty day. I didn't achieve as much as I thought.
But maybe that’s okay?
I feel like watching TV instead.
Wait, what did that character just say?
It's exactly what I needed to hear :)
The gift of clarity always comes in time.
Surrendering fully
We are not well-oiled machines. While we may be programmed to want to be an all-loving, productive machine, there is NO fun in being one (at least not for long).
We are ever-changing beings—subject to the ebbs and flow of life.
We are sailors of the sea—always following the call of our hearts.
We are worthy beyond explanation—and no bad day, week, or even month can stop us from experiencing something good every day.
So the rules are simple:
#1. If you expect yourself to receive a spark every day, you will.
#2. Just surrender to your worthiness.
Loveeeeeeee this and thank you for the reminder of clarity and looking for those sparks ✨
