I started this newsletter four months ago, and what better time than now to reflect on the rewards along the way?

This newsletter has been very special to me. To be able to reflect on this space—one that I so vulnerably share with you and you so willingly hold with me—is a privilege.

Truly, it has been an honour.

I believe we are all storytellers. 

Whether by pen, by words, or by love, we are always sharing a part of who we are with the world.

I have discovered that I hold many kinds of stories in my heart: all beginning, unravelling and ending simultaneously.

Some stories ended a long time ago and I still do not have the willpower to convey them. I believe these stories are meant to be known only by me. Other stories are still building; the setting has just been established and the character arcs are developing. 

Then there are my most forgiving stories. The ones I tell you here. 

These are the stories I know well enough to take pleasure in and express, but never the ones I know for sure.

I like sharing them with you because they are true enough and also transitory enough. They expand me into the infinite, but they never ask me to outrun my own journey.
