What is Emotional Dumpling?

Emotional Dumpling is a newsletter exploring expression. Expression of who I am, my creativity, and what I’ve come to know for myself in this lifetime.

Simultaneously, this newsletter aims to study how we—as a community of dreamers and lovers—can better understand and express ourselves, in a way that is true to our hearts and soul.

It is a collection ranging from personal stories to organized insights, to inspire you into your truth and self-discovery.

Some topics I love to discuss include self, spirituality, wellness, creativity, and the joys of being.

Why “Emotional Dumpling”?

The following tales are told by none other than me: an emotional soup dumpling. Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be that Asian girl who is cool, calm and collected. However, that quickly changed in my 20s, when I started transitioning to adulthood and felt much more complex feelings.

As I see it now, our emotions are like soup dumplings: delicate, precious, and delicious.

So handle your emotions with care.
Dip them in some love.
And when they burst, enjoy the spillover of joy, clarity, and ease that follows.

Thank you for being here! Your support means a lot to me. You don’t need to worry about anything—every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.
